Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Reception - City Tour

Morning:

Our agency staff will greet you at the airport upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel in the city of Cusco.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you’ll be welcomed with a comforting cup of coca leaf infusion to help you acclimatize to the altitude.
You’ll have the morning free to relax and adjust.

*Note: Meals are not included today, but we’ll be delighted to recommend some of the city’s best restaurants.*

Afternoon:

City Tour and Saqsayhuaman Park

At 8:30 am, after lunch, we’ll pick you up from the hotel to begin the city tour. Today’s itinerary includes:

Temple of the Sun – Qoricancha
The Cathedral
Saqsayhuaman
Q’enqo
Puka Pukara
Tambomachay

You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Cusco.

Day 2: Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas - Train Journey to Machu Picchu

Morning:

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we’ll pick you up at 7:00 am to start our adventure through the Sacred Valley. Our itinerary for today includes:

Pisaq
Lunch in Urubamba: Indulge in a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
Ollantaytambo

Afternoon:

At 4:36 pm, board the train bound for Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

Note: Today’s activities cover all entrance fees to attractions, a hearty buffet lunch, your train ticket, and overnight accommodation in Machu Picchu.

Día 3: Visita a Machu Picchu

After breakfast, we’ll head to the bus terminal for a scenic 30-minute ride along the winding Hiram Bingham Road to the entrance of Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary.
Upon arrival, we’ll present our entrance tickets and embark on a guided tour lasting about 3 hours, exploring the most significant and iconic spots of Machu Picchu.
Following the tour, we’ll return to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) for lunch.
Later, as per your train schedule, you’ll proceed to the train station to board your return train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a transfer back to Cusco.
You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Cusco.

Note: Today’s arrangements include admission to Machu Picchu, round-trip bus tickets, a knowledgeable tour guide, return train ticket, and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Excursion to Humantay Lake

4:00 am: Today starts early as we head towards Humantay Lake, soaking in the breathtaking landscapes and the majestic Salkantay and Humantay peaks along the way.
After a nearly 2-hour ascent, we’ll reach an elevation of 4200 meters (13,780 feet) to explore the lake.
You’ll be treated to breakfast and lunch during the day.
We plan to return to Cusco around 5:00 pm.

Note: You have the option to rent horses for the ascent.

Day 5: Return Train Ride and Exploration of Moray, Maras Salt Mines, and Chinchero Village

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to the train station for our return journey to the charming town of Ollantaytambo, where our day’s adventure begins.

Today, we’ll visit:

Maras Salt Mines
Agricultural terraces of Moray
Chinchero Village
After exploring these fascinating sites, we’ll return to Cusco.
You’ll spend another night at a hotel in Cusco.

Day 6: Tour to Rainbow Mountain - Vinicunca

4:00 am: Today we depart early for Rainbow Mountain – Vinicunca, enjoying the scenic beauty of the southern valley along the way.
We’ll reach an altitude of 5020 meters (16,466 feet), with nearly a 2-hour ascent to reach the viewpoint of the mountain.
Breakfast and lunch are included today.
We expect to return to the city of Cusco around 4:00 pm.

Note: There’s an option to rent horses for the ascent.

Day 7: We Reach the End of a Wonderful and Unforgettable Experience

According to your flight schedule, we will pick you up from the hotel to transfer you to the airport.
After 7 days of immersing ourselves in Andean culture and connecting with Mother Earth – Pachamama, it’s time to bid farewell. However, in the Quechua language of the Incas, there is no word for goodbye, because we believe we will meet again in this life or the next.
