We begin with a tour of both historic and modern Lima, then journey through the Paracas Reserve and the charming Oasis of Huacachina, where you can taste local Pisco and wines. Next, we fly to Cusco to explore the mystical Sacred Valley, savoring Andean cuisine and taking a train ride to the iconic Machu Picchu citadel. Discover enchanting sites like Chinchero, the Maras Salt Mines, and the mystical Humantay Lake. In Cusco, visit the impressive Cathedral and participate in a ceremonial ritual for Pachamama at sacred sites such as Sacsayhuaman and Qorikancha. Wrap up your journey with an unforgettable excursion to Rainbow Mountain.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lima and City Exploration

AFTERNOON: EXPLORING LIMA

14:00: Begin your Lima City Tour, journeying through its three historical phases: Ancient, Colonial, and Modern Lima. Highlights include visits to “Huaca Pucllana”, Lima’s Historic Center, San Martin Square, Main Square, Government Palace, City Hall, Archbishop’s Palace, Cathedral, Central Reserve Bank Museum, San Francisco Monastery with its Catacombs, Olive Grove of San Isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar, and the romantic Love Park.

Note: Admission to all attractions is included.

Day 2: Visit to Paracas Natural Reserve, Huacachina Oasis, and Vineyards

5:00 am: Pick-up from the hotel for a 5-hour journey to Paracas Natural Reserve. There, aboard a yacht, we’ll visit the Ballestas Islands to observe Pacific Ocean marine fauna.

Afterwards, we’ll head to the city of Ica for lunch and a visit to the vineyards, concluding with the Huacachina Oasis.

21:00 hrs: Return to Lima and overnight at the hotel.

Note: Lunch and dune buggy rental at Huacachina Oasis are not included this day.

Day 3: Flight to Cusco and Airport Reception

Today, after picking you up from your hotel in Lima, we’ll transfer you to the airport.
10:35 am: Flight Lima – Cusco, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
12:00 pm: Upon arrival at the airport, our staff will be waiting to transfer you from the airport to your hotel in Cusco. At the hotel, you’ll be welcomed with a soothing cup of coca tea to help with altitude acclimatization.
You’ll have the afternoon free to explore Cusco on your own if you wish, or you can take the day to relax.

Note: No meals are included this day, but we’ll be happy to provide recommendations for the best restaurants in the city.

Day 4: Visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas - Train to Machu Picchu

MORNING: After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll pick you up at 7:00 am to begin our visit to the Sacred Valley, where we’ll explore:

Pisac.
Lunch in Urubamba: Enjoy a typical buffet lunch.
Ollantaytambo.

Train to Machu Picchu: Departure at 15:37 for the town of Aguas Calientes.

Note: This day includes all entrance fees to tourist sites, buffet lunch, train ticket, and overnight stay in Machu Picchu.

Day 5: Visit to Machu Picchu

Today, we will explore the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. After breakfast, we’ll head to the bus terminal for a scenic 30-minute journey along the winding Hiram Bingham road. Upon arrival at the sanctuary entrance, we will present our tickets and embark on a guided tour lasting approximately 3 hours, visiting the most important and representative sites of Machu Picchu.

After the tour, we’ll return to the town of Machu Picchu for lunch. You’ll have the afternoon free to enjoy the hot springs. We’ll spend another night at a hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Note: Admission to Machu Picchu, round-trip bus ticket, tourist guide, and hotel night are included.

Day 6: Visit to Moray, Maras Salt Mines, and Chinchero Village

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up to begin the tour. Today, we will visit:

Maras Salt Mines
Moray agricultural laboratory
Chinchero Village

After completing the tour of these tourist sites, we will return to the city of Cusco.

Day 7: Tour to Humantay Lake

4:00 am: Today we depart early for Humantay Lake, enjoying the scenic beauty and views of the imposing Salkantay and Humantay mountains along the way.

We will reach an altitude of 4200 meters above sea level, with a journey of nearly 2 hours of ascent to reach the lake. Breakfast and lunch are included today. We plan to return to Cusco around 5:00 pm.

Day 8: City Tour and Sacsayhuaman Park in the Morning

8:30 am: After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up to begin the city tour. Today, we will visit:

Temple of the Sun – Qoricancha
Sacsayhuaman
Q’enqo
Puka Pukara
Tambomachay
Pachamama Ritual

You’ll have the afternoon free and spend the night at a hotel in Cusco.

Day 9: Tour to Rainbow Mountain - Vinicunca

4:00 am: Today we depart early for Rainbow Mountain – Vinicunca, enjoying the scenic beauty of the southern valley.

We will reach an altitude of 5020 meters above sea level, with a journey of nearly 2 hours of ascent to reach the mountain viewpoint.

Breakfast and lunch are included today. We plan to return to Cusco around 4:00 pm.

Day 10: The End of an Unforgettable Experience

After 10 days of exploring Peruvian culture, experiencing the cuisine from different regions, and connecting with Mother Earth – Pachamama, it’s time to say goodbye. But in the Quechua language of the Incas, there’s no word for goodbye, because we will meet again in this life or the next.
